The figures measure approx 4 to 6 inches tall. The plates are approx. 4.5 inches in diameter. It is impossible to find all four of these in one set like this with all items including the wooden bases that the figures and plates sit on and all four COA's in their original boxes. Made in very limited numbers, these figurines combined mark one of the more difficult feats to accomplish by a Major League pitcher in a career. Obviously a Hall of Famer, Nolan Ryan was feared by all teams he played against. His record seven no hitters spans three decades in the majors. This set represents a milestone in baseball that will probably never again be accomplished by a pitcher who competed with having played so effectively for four different teams in the Majors. If not for a career ending ligament tearing injury, he could have accomplished even more than what he did. But even with this injury, the final pitch of his career was clocked at 98 miles per hour!
